Breaking the Silence

Have you ever gone to scream but found your voice trapped and all that came out was air? Or been in a position where releasing the violent noise inside that desperately wanted or needed to escape was just impossible due to incapacitation or unacceptability (or something of the like)?

Maybe this is relatable and maybe it's not, but we've all been somewhere we've felt pushed beyond our limits. Some of us withdrawal in times like these and some of us fight back like there is no tomorrow. (I've been on both sides of the spectrum at different times.) I also might add that either option often results in its own set of consequences that have to be navigated.

Either way, we react or respond to the immediate feeling of vulnerability in a way that provides some semblance of control in hopes of reestablishing a sense of security and/or stability as soon as possible. None of us can withstand persistent pressure without damage or long term effect on our bodies, minds, behaviors, and emotions.

If you've felt trapped or like your voice has been taken, minimized, damaged, or distorted , I want to encourage you today!!!! Jesus values your voice and the cry of your heart more than any human possibly ever could!!!

If you feel trapped, I want to encourage you that Jesus doesn't want you to stay in that place, and He's not responsible for you being there. Furthermore... He will be faithful to defend you and make a way out for you!!!

I can't share all the details of my journey right now (and maybe never will publicly.) However, that doesn't mean I can't help others get free from the kind of bondage and baggage I've been able to off load recently!

Please, please reach out to me or someone if you are struggling or feel trapped in your circumstances! Jesus, your friends, family and sometimes even perfect stranges can be used by the Lord to set you free and rediscover who you were meant to be!

Don't accept anything less than the gift that was offered to pay our debt so we could be free! It's already been done...but you do have to accept the help and the gift if you want to get out of the cycle, trap, or bondage that has held you captive!

Don't wait to take a step of faith towards a loving God who is trustworthy and faithful. Choosing Him is the only guarantee of a favorable outcome. Bless you
